Whether it’s your daily island circuit, playing football with friends, padel or beach volleyball after work, MAC is the place to be. Budapest’s unique sports center awaits you on Margaret Island, where you can exercise on thousands of square meters alone or in community with your friends. MAC is an innovative community sports park for those who care about central location and want to fill the space with a real community of motivated athletes. Our sports center has been expanded with many functions in recent years. Our track became one of the best quality running tracks in the country. Our small football field was covered with artificial grass. The city’s hottest individual and group gym, Smasher Training System, has moved to us. In 2022, we restarted beach volleyball on the island. We welcome volleyball lovers with three professional courts with a panoramic view of the Danube. At the beginning of 2024, our family gym underwent a “facelift”, new strength and cardio machines arrived, and in April we inaugurated two brand new double padel courts on Margaret Island. The MAC is a great venue for sports programmes, concerts, corporate team-building events, family days and a fan zone. Our mission is to develop the Margaret Island Athletics Center into an outstanding sports center in Budapest, where, in addition to competitive and leisure sports, community life also takes place.
