MAC is an innovative community sports park for those who care about central location and want to fill the space with a real community of motivated athletes. Our facility has been expanded in recent years with a number of new features. Our track has become one of the best quality running tracks in the country. Beach volleyball has been revived on the island, the gym has been renovated, Smasher Training Systems has moved in, and 2024. In April we also opened our padel courts!
Our large football pitch is also a great venue for concerts, sports programmes or a fan zone

Running circle
On Margaret Island, one tram stop from the bustling city, is the most famous running circuit, named after the legendary orienteer Sarolta Monspart in 2021. The circuit is 5.32 km long, with a 2m elevation change. From dawn until late in the evening, the track is taken over by enthusiastic runners.
Access: come by foot or by bike or scooter. If you come by car, you can drive onto the island from the Árpád Bridge, where you can park your car in a pay car park.
Street workout park
In the southern tip of Margaret Island, next to the running track, you can find our outdoor fitness park, renovated, expanded, and modernized in the spring of 2022 The gym is open around the clock and free of charge.
Margitka – The gastro sports bar
Margitka is one of the most popular terrace spots on the island, located directly next to our beach volleyball courts, where you can enjoy a true waterfront atmosphere. At Margitka from May to October, you can relax with great music, along with spritzers, refreshments and bistro dinners.
The MAC is a sports service operated by the Budapest Sports Service Provider Kft.
